To mitigate the spread of COVID-19, all Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission (PHMC) offices are closed, with staff working remotely. All PHMC sites and museums, including the Erie Maritime Museum, remain closed to the public.

The Erie Maritime Museum, a place property of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC), remains closed to the public.  As part of the Commonwealth’s network, the Erie Maritime Museum will reopen at the direction of the Governor’s administration.
