Folklorist Kelly Armor for “Silkies, Sailors, and Lady Pirates”, a concert of songs about women on the water.  From ancient times, sailors have spun tales of mermaids and lake monsters.  Even today, we still investigate sightings of mysterious creatures in our waters – even our own Lake Erie!

Charter Day 2020 will include a special unveiling of the Erie Maritime Museum’s newest exhibit – The Lake Erie Monster. Learn the story of the Lake Erie Monster with a special Lake Monster – themed scavenger hunt.

Museum Entrance is FREE and Open to the Public.
